Fiber is an essential part of our daily diet, but many of us don’t even come close to getting our daily recommended 25g for women and 30g for men!
But what is fiber?
Dietery fiber is the part of a plant that cannot be digested. Fiber gives plants their strength and structure. It’s found grains, cereals, fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and legumes.
Fiber is also in pysllium husk. Pysllium is a rich source of soluble fiber that’s naturally gluten-free and sugar-free.
There are two kinds of fiber: soluble and insoluble. Most foods that contain fiber, contain both. Both types are helpful to your health.
